Fitness Expert Yngvar Andersen strongly against protein powder. He believes that dietary supplements as this is not necessary and that it is the entrance to doping.

- Dietary grants that protein is clearly a front for doping. When it does not produce the desired results, there is only one option remaining, says Andersen told VG.

- There is no witchcraft to get enough protein through normal food. Protein powders are unnecessary and have not needed it. It gives an unnatural relationship with food, and a miss of vitamin and mineral that proper food provides, says Andersen told VG.

He points out that many top athletes in the country do fine without subsidies protein as an example of the need for this is unnecessary and created by industry.

- This is a warning to parents. They must follow. Use of such payment may be easily escalate, and it is not difficult to obtain drugs today. One must reflect on where the road continues, he says.

Sales Director at Protein Factory, Egil Berli-Johnsen, is not agreed with Andersen when it comes to the danger that people go from using protein to dope himself.
